| | Beendigen has 14 transitional and 12 permanent housing units throughout the City of Thunder Bay. The rent is geared to income and each unit comes equipped with a fridge and stove. Supportive services are provided to women and children in our transition units by our Outreach worker and tenants are able to access programming and services offered by Beendigen. |
| Goal | Our goal is to provide housing and support care to ensure women & children have a safe environment to live free from violence.

Eligibility Criteria | - Eligibility for Beendigen's transitional units is limited to women and their children with priority given to women leaving Beendigen's Crisis Home

Program Description | - Beendigen's housing program consists of 20 three-bedroom units, 4 two-bedroom units, and 2 four-bedroom units. The program operates under the guidelines established by the Thunder Bay District Social Services Administration Board according to the regulations of the Tenant Protection Act
- Upon lease-up all residents are required to sign a standard Lease Agreement with Beendigen
- Outreach services are provided for approximately 1 year to women and children who reside in the transitional housing units
