• To assist abused women in making the transition to an abuse free life.  To help secure & maintain housing, and help develop an individual safety and transitional plan.

Program Description

Objectives:

• To support women to live free from violence by connecting them with necessary community support such as: Housing Counselling, Parenting Support, Education Upgrading, Job Training, Income Support, Legal Aid, Health and Wellness Services.
• To prioritize the safety and well-being of the women and her children
• To assist women in identifying the choices and resources available for her and her children.
• To respect a women's right to make her own choices.

Eligibility
Criteria:

• Eligibility for the Transistional Housing & Support Program is available to Aboriginal women in need of support and services in the community who want to live free from violence.
